Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy now offers a gifted focus in its Advanced Teaching Program to help educators meet the unique needs of academically talented students
The faculty includes SESP Professor Paula Olszewski-Kubilius, PhD, director of Northwestern's Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University
Experienced educators and researchers in the field of gifted education teach in the program. The faculty includes School of Education and Social Policy Professor Paula Olszewski-Kubilius, PhD, director of Northwestern's Center for Talent Development at Northwestern University.

Dr. Olszewski-Kubilius has more than two decades of experience designing and conducting educational programs for learners of all ages including summer programs, weekend programs, distance learning programs, and programs for under-represented gifted students. She is active and has had leadership positions in national- and state-level advocacy organizations for gifted children. Paula is the current editor of Gifted Child Quarterly and former co-editor of Journal of Secondary Gifted Education. She has served on the editorial advisory board of the Journal for the Education of the Gifted and Gifted Child International and as a consulting editor for The Roeper Review.
