The SESP website was designed by University Relations in 2003 and is scheduled for re-design in Summer 2008.
In 2004 all content was ported over to SOCiety, a content management system (CMS) devleoped in the Distributed Learning Center (DLC) - under Supervision of Dennis Glenn, the direction of Mark Swindle, and Marc Flury as lead developer.
Between 2004 and 2006 the SESP development team - under the supervision of Jim Webb, the direction of Mark Swindle, and William Siegrist as lead developer - re-architected SOCiety into "cmSESP." cmSESP runs in a PHP/MySQL/Apache/Linux environment, and has been expanded to include a Digital Portfolio, Faculty Annual Reporting System, News Center, Virtual Showroom, calendaring application, job opportunities system, and other web-based functionality.
