Help desk ticket service allows you direct communication with the IT team, to ensure your issue is resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Wikis/Blogs

SESP IT maintains an Apple wiki server that hosts a number of wikis, from the IT documentation wiki which contains useful how-tos on many of the resources we offer, to private wikis for small groups to use for collaboration. You must have an active NetID to access the wiki server. To request a wiki, email helpdesk@sesp.northwestern.edu to open a help desk ticket.

Course Management System

The SESP Course Management System is used to schedule courses for all SESP programs. Please contact Russell Gillespie for access.

MachForms

Using your NetID, you can use MachForm to help you create professional-grade forms with maximum compatibility. Works great on desktop computers or mobile/touch devices (iPhone, iPad, Android devices). The all for building tool allows you to create forms easily using drag and drop interface. No coding knowledge is needed. You can share the results with others too.

Virtual Computer Lab

A number of Windows-only applications can be accessed on a Mac computer via our remote desktop Thin Client system. Among the applications available are NVivo, SPSS, Stata, atlas.ti, HLM, Transana, Inqscribe and Comprehensive Meta Analysis. Listserv E-mail Lists

My SESP Online Profiles

SESP faculty, staff and PhD candidates should keep their online profiles updated. For help with the profile system, contact webmaster@sesp.northwestern.edu. The profile system itself offers integrated help documentation on each page that can aid you in keeping your profile up to date; just look for the "HELP for this page" link in the top right navigation.
