Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Education Program for Higher Education Administration and Policy
Are you interested in a new career in higher education administration and policy? Are you interested in advancing your current career in higher education administration with a master’s degree?
An upcoming special information session for Higher Education Administration and Policy will highlight courses, full- and part-time professional development opportunities and examples of recent master’s research projects. Our program features flexible scheduling so that students can continue to work full-time or take classes full-time.
The next information session will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, in Room 345 of Annenberg Hall, 2120 Campus Drive, on the Evanston campus. Faculty, students, alumni and program administrators will be on hand to give an overview of the program, share experiences and answer questions.
The goal of the Higher Education Administration and Policy program is to prepare skilled and reflective administrative leaders. Students come from a variety of professional backgrounds including law, business, psychology, teaching and, of course, higher education administration. The program is designed to develop analysis and management skills needed to function productively in colleges and universities, as well as in government and private agencies. Graduates of the program pursue careers in areas such as student affairs, admissions, financial aid, community relations, governmental relations, institutional development and research, athletic administration, study abroad and international relations, and public policy.
