Graduate Certificate

If you are an experienced professional not looking for a full degree but still seeking the rigor of a graduate academic program, graduate certificate options from the Master's Program in Learning and Organizational Change (MSLOC) will meet your need to build specialized expertise without investing in an entire master’s program.

Graduate certificate program courses are offered in both the part-time evening and alternative schedule formats. You attend the same classes as master's degree students, and credits count toward meeting MSLOC degree requirements if you later choose to apply and are admitted to the full-degree program while you are a certificate candidate.

The part-time evening schedule includes class sessions that meet weekdays from 6 to 9 p.m. and is most suitable if you live within the Chicago area.

The alternative schedule format is a great option if you live outside of the Chicago area or if you live locally but your work or personal schedule precludes attending weekly evening classes. The alternative schedule option combines distance learning with on-campus classroom meetings delivered in full-day sessions over consecutive days. Each on-campus session is between two and six days in duration.

Three graduate certificate course options are offered: The Graduate Certificate in Strategic Change Management and the Graduate Certificate in Learning and Organizational Change are described below. See the Graduate Certificate in Organizational and Leadership Coaching for details about MSLOC's coaching certification.
