Lucy Gee Talks Employee Engagement at IT Leaders Conference

Lucy Gee (MSLOC 2012) will facilitate a discussion on employee empowerment at the MOR Associates IT Leaders Conference in Chicago June 20-22.

Gee’s session is based on her Capstone research, “Employee Empowerment: What Works?” which looked at nine specific types of empowerment used by managers to determine which are successful from the employee perspective. The study also looked at preferences by gender, generation and total years of work experience.

The results indicate that the nine types of empowerment are effective but there are preferences among the nine and within demographic segments.
