Christine Leung (MSLOC 2009) Joins Innovative Tennessee School District

Christine Leung (MSLOC 2009) recently joined Tennessee’s innovative Achievement School District (ASD) as Director of Knowledge Management.

ASD is a statewide school district dedicated to the mission of ensuring that the lowest performing 5% of schools across the state will perform in the top 25% within 5 years.

Leung’s professional focus is on catalyzing systemic change in public education. She was an Education Pioneers Fellow while an MSLOC student and assigned to aid City Year, Inc. in defining indicators of student success as part of the organization’s Whole School Whole Child service model. She also worked with the Urban Education Institute at the University of Chicago while at MSLOC. After graduating, Leung completed a two-year Broad Residency in Urban Education prior to joining ASD.
