The full-time option is ideal if you wish to concentrate entirely on your academic studies and complete the MSLOC degree requirements in one year and four months.
MSLOC classes meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Some courses hold a few Friday evening and Saturday class sessions, and class project teams often choose to meet on weekends. Elective courses to complete MSLOC requirements that are taken at other Northwestern graduate programs or schools may meet at different times. With the full-time schedule option:
- Your program entry will begin in September (fall quarter) or March (spring quarter).
- You must take two or three classes per quarter.
- Summer courses are optional.
- You may take electives from other Northwestern University graduate programs, both “day school” and “evening” programs.
- You will join part-time evening students in all of your MSLOC courses and alternative schedule students in some of your MSLOC courses if you choose to take advantage of those courses.
- A full-time course load allows you to complete degree requirements in one year and four months.
