Ravit Golan Duncan (PhD05), an assistant professor of education and biology at Rutgers University, recently was named a 2007 Young Scholar by the Janet H. and C. Henry Knowles Foundation.
6/18/07 - Alumna Awardee Edith Bostic Addresses Graduates at Convocation
School of Education and Social Policy alumna Edith Howard Bostic (BS74) addressed SESP graduates on June 16 at Cahn Auditorium. One hundred fifty-seven students received degrees.
6/20/07 - Vivian Wong Presents Preschool Research at Capitol Hill Briefing
At a policy briefing on June 18 in Washington, D.C., doctoral student Vivian Wong presented the findings of her study with Professor Thomas Cook of five state programs. Their research found that states' programs had positive effects on children's print awareness, early mathematics and receptive vocabulary skills.
