Dan McAdams, professor of human development and social policy at the School of Education and Social Policy, will explain the surprising role of the stories Americans tell about their lives during his presentation on "America's Redemptive Storehouse" at the Chicago Humanities Festival on November 3.
10/1/07 - CTD Starts New Program for Low-Income Students
A new project of SESP's Center for Talent Development will provide enrichment and support to help gifted low- and moderate-income students reach their potential. Over a three-year period, Project BLAST targets approximately 120 students and their families in four Chicago-area school districts.

10/23/07 - Golden Apple Winners Offer Teaching Advice at Reception
The School of Education and Social Policy welcomed the 10 winners of the 2007 Golden Apple Award for Teaching Excellence to Northwestern at a reception on October 25. The 10 award winners, who take classes at the University as part of their award, shared their advice on teaching.
