The School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) has announced a donor challenge that extends until July 15. The challenge has been issued by Northwestern alumnus Paul Sagan and Ann Burks Sagan, the parents of Katie Sagan (BS09), a recent SESP graduate. If the School receives 75 donations in response to their challenge, the Sagans have pledged to donate $10,000 to SESP.
"We are so pleased with the excellent education our daughter received in her four years at SESP. We are very proud to support SESP to enable the School to continue to innovate and offer enhanced learning experiences for students," Paul and Ann Sagan write in a message to SESP alumni, parents and friends.
"We believe it is important that we all do what we can to help incoming and continuing SESP students to succeed as well, so we are issuing a challenge to all School of Education and Social Policy alumni and parents," the message continues.
Donations to SESP received in response to this donor challenge will be used for maintaining the quality of student-centered programming, the small class sizes, and the personalized attention and advising that SESP offers. Gifts of any size count toward the challenge.
Gifts may be made online or by calling 800/222-5603. Further information is available from Laurie Carlin Davidson, SESP Development Director, at l-davidson3@northwestern.edu or 847/467-2630.
