As the 2009-10 academic year draws to a close, the School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) is seeking support through a unique "challenge" to increase donor participation. If 100 donors contribute to the School's Annual Fund by June 30, SESP parents Valerie and Marten Hoekstra will donate $250 for each donor to the School of Education and Social Policy.
If donors make their gifts to the SESP Annual Fund by the June 30 deadline, the School can meet this challenge. Any size gift counts. Support is important for maintaining the high quality of student-centered programming, the small class sizes, and the personalized attention and advising that are hallmarks of SESP.
"As parents of a School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) student, we are so pleased with the education our daughter received so far at SESP. We appreciate the opportunity to support SESP in order to enable the School to continue to offer enhanced learning experiences and a supportive, close-knit community for students," says Marten Hoekstra.
The Hoekstras issued this challenge because they believe it is important to involve as many parents and alumni as possible in supporting incoming and continuing SESP students.
