  • Directs Northwestern University's Alternative Teacher Certification (NU-TEACH) Program. Negotiates partnerships with external organizations; recommends and implements program policies and procedures; plans, designs and implements all components of program and Intern activities; coordinates program applicant acceptance and matriculation processes; organizes and schedules program activities; recruits NU and non-NU staff instructors; coordinates partner involvement in program activities; supervises instructional teaching and support staff activities in elementary and secondary education program components; teaches/co-teaches seminars in elementary and secondary education; observes, counsels and provides support for program Interns; monitors Intern progress and certification; recommends and evaluates Intern portfolio content and completion; coordinates program Policy Committee meetings; implements program Policy Committee decisions.
