Biography
After completing my undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Windsor, competing interests in art, science and education led me to pursue an M.Sc. in Biomedical Communications at the University of Toronto. Following graduation, I worked for two years as a professional medical illustrator, animator, and new media designer at InViVo Communications, Inc. in Toronto. There, I helped create illustrations, computer animations, multimedia presentations and web applications for the instruction of medical, scientific and surgical procedures, serving major pharmaceutical, and biotechnology clients from around the world.

This will be my fourth year in the Learning Sciences program. I hope to extend my academic and professional background with research into visual learning and visual design in informal science education.
