This internship was completed as a component of the final Master's project and was contracted by the Chicago Public School’s Chief Executives Office and their Office of Instructional Design and Assessment.
Two studies were completed as a result of this internship. These studies were specifically designed to inform CPS policy makers, curriculum developers, and the professional development presenters. Both of the studies employed the use of ethnographic field notes attending specifically to the use of the curriculum and levels of student engagement, audio recorded classroom sessions, and teacher interviews.
