Biography

Alyson Margulies, PhD, is Head of Talent Management for Uline, where she focuses on the design, development and implementation of enterprise-wide talent management processes, learning and development solutions and drawing insights from talent analytics. Her research interests include assessing for high potential and diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
 
Her background is in Industrial Organization Psychology (I-O), and she has more than 15 years of experience applying I-O expertise to HR practice within Fortune 100 companies, including McDonald’s, PepsiCo and Walgreens. Her specialties include talent management, performance management, employee development and assessment, executive coaching, 360 feedback, organizational change, talent analytics and survey design. She is master certified in the Hogan Assessment Suite and is a certified executive coach.
 
Alyson received a PhD from Purdue University in industrial organizational psychology. She also earned a BA in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a frequent external speaker and contributor to the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychology.
