BiographyHillary Swanson is a postdoctoral scholar with both the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-Based Modeling (CCL) and the Tangible Interaction Design and Learning (TIDAL) Lab. Her research explores the productive role of prior knowledge in conceptual change and how instruction can be designed to leverage students’ everyday knowledge. Her current research focuses on the joint development of scientific knowledge and computational thinking through engagement in computationally rich science curriculum.
