With fewer than 400 undergraduates, the School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) is the smallest of the six undergraduate schools at Northwestern. Because our School is recognized for the scholarship of our outstanding interdisciplinary faculty, our engaged students and our supportive advising, admission is competitive. Students enter SESP either as a new Northwestern student or as a student from another Northwestern school.

Current high school students should contact the Northwestern Admissions Office for specific admissions information. The Admissions Office reviews all applications and makes the final admissions decision. The SESP Student Affairs Office is available to provide in-depth information about SESP's programs, faculty and curriculum.

Prospective students and their families visiting campus are strongly encouraged to attend a SESP information session. Sessions are held Monday through Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the SESP Student Affairs Office on the first floor of Annenberg Hall. To sign up for an information session, click here!
