Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Practicum

Description: This practicum will draw on expertise and experience from around the University to explore practical ways to implement UDL solutions in syllabi, Canvas pages, course materials, assignments, assessments, and learning experiences.

Equity Inclusive STEM Teaching Project

Description: The Inclusive STEM Teaching Project is designed to advance the awareness, self-efficacy, and ability of STEM faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and staff to cultivate inclusive learning environments for all their students and to develop themselves as reflective, inclusive practitioners.

Description: Sociologist Victor Ray will discuss his latest book On Critical Race Theory: Why It Matters & Why You Should Care. Ray is the F. Wendell Miller Associate Professor of Sociology and African American Studies at the University of Iowa. He is also a nonresident fellow in governance studies at the Brookings Institution.
