Biography

Amy Lindgren is a program coordinator for the Weekend Enrichment Program and Online Family Program at CTD. She is especially passionate about bringing technology and coding course content to CTD's youngest learners, and is a Raspberry Pi Foundation Certified Educator. She has a long involvement with gifted education, beginning when her entire family participated in Center for Talent Development programs like the Opportunities for the Future family conference. Previously, she worked as an elementary school educator and CTD instructor. Lindgren holds a master of science degree in education from Northwestern University with a concentration in elementary teaching, where she completed a master’s thesis, “Newly Labeled Gifted Students: What Happens Beyond the Gradebook and What Teachers Can Do,” and earned a certificate in instructional coaching. Lindgren also holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication and French, with concentrations in interpersonal communication and international business, from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
