Biography
Kate Cichon has proudly served youth, families and communities around the country for over a decade. After earning her degree from UIUC, she had the opportunity to teach reading enrichment classes to students of all ages and hire, train and supervise new reading teachers. Most recently, she worked at a public charter school on the south side of Chicago where she created and coordinated programs for students in grades 6 through 12 and their families. As the Apogee Coordinator for the Summer Program, Cichon oversees all aspects of the residential and instructional program for students in grades 4 through 6.Research/Scholarship
