BiographyCassandra Geiger directs the Northwestern Academy, a joint initiative under the Good Neighbor, Great University Program to identify and prepare academically talented, low-income youth from Chicago Public Schools for successful matriculation to selective colleges and universities. Her previous work with the Schuler Scholar Program as a college counselor provided valuable experience to support high academic achievement, assist first-generation and underrepresented students and their families to navigate the current educational system in pursuit of achieving their highest of post-secondary aims. Geiger holds a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Human Development, and a MEd in School Counseling from DePaul University, Chicago.
