Biography
Celishia Bussey coordinates programming for Project EXCITE, a program that provides supplemental educational opportunities for students in grades 3 through 8 who are from under-represented minority groups in the advanced mathematics and science courses at Evanston Township High School. Bussey has a decade of experience supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds throughout the Chicagoland area. Bussey holds a bachelor of arts in psychology and African and Afro-American Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. She also holds a master's of education in human services and counseling, with an expertise in community counseling, from DePaul University. Bussey is a licensed clinical professional counselor and national certified counselor.Research/Scholarship
