Beginning this summer, SESP will offer a new Higher Education Administration certificate for professionals working in higher education who want to expand their skills, grow their network and pursue graduate-level course work. Applications are currently being accepted on a rolling basis.

Through the certificate’s five courses, students will gain a deeper understanding of U.S. higher education issues, today’s college students, learning and teaching in relation to higher education administration, and communicating effectively about budget and finance issues. Distinctive elements of the program include a strong connection between theory and practice, broad curriculum and flexible schedule.

The higher education certificate features a blended learning and alternative schedule format. This format combines two face-to-face weekend meetings on the Evanston campus with the remaining class sessions being held virtually. Should students decide to apply to the full master's degree, certificate courses would transfer. Read more about the new certificate in the recent SESP News article.
