Biography

I have been teaching for the MSED program since 2020 and working in K-12 education for the past 25 years. When I'm not teaching an MSED course, I am the Director of K-8 Literacy for Niles Township HS District 219. I help ensure students from our K-8 partner districts enter high school ready to excel. Prior to my time in District 219, I was an Associate Professor in Reading and Language at National Louis University, where I prepared future Reading Specialists and literacy leaders.
