The SESP Student Affairs Office features a variety of books and resources that are helpful in the job and graduate school search. For a complete list, visit: SESP Library.
HDPS students combine their strong academic training with out of class experience working with people to open a variety of doors after graduation. Our graduates may go directly into the workforce upon graduation, or go to graduate school for counseling, social work, medicine, law, or pursue a fellowship.
Of the SESP four undergraduate concentrations, HDPS students are most likely to attend graduate school upon graduation from Northwestern. Graduate education is a requirement for many of the fields that our HDPS students are interested in pursuing, such as: social work, counseling, etc. SESP does not offer counseling certification at the undergraduate level.
