Inclusive schools are crucial to healthy culture & climates, and students’ academic success.  However, many educators are often challenged with incorporating this belief into school-wide/district-wide actions & initiatives. The core principles of inclusive educational environments must be rooted in thriving relationships. Relationships that are grounded in respect, cultural sensitivity, and empathy provide actionable solutions for inclusivity, which automatically produces equitable learning environments. Educators must ensure that they promote inclusive environments for all through research-based best practices and accountability metrics.  This workshop will unpack some of the common inclusion gaps, offer practical solutions for minimizing these barriers, increase relational connections, & promote equity for all.
