Terrence Roche (MSLOC 2007) started in a newly created position overseeing Program Development and Quality Improvement for YMCA of the USA’s Healthy Living Department on August 1, 2013. He will work with his team to discover, test, and operationalize new program models that respond to rapidly changing systems, environments and statistics related to our nation’s health. In addition, he and his team will strengthen quality improvement and assurance efforts to enhance the dissemination of existing Y programs. This position builds upon Terrence’s previous experience with the Y, where he oversaw the dissemination of several national organizational and community change initiatives that are helping Ys across the country lead the fight against chronic diseases and for healthier communities.
Liz Fritz Vaggelatos (MSLOC 2013) joined Forsythe, an IT infrastructure and technology consulting firm, in March 2013 as a Knowledge Manager with a focus on communications and sharing. Prior to Forsythe, Liz held roles as an internal consultant where she gained comprehensive change management experience. She will be using those skills to gain company-wide adoption of SharePoint. Liz's MSLOC Capstone research project looked at how employees can work effectively and successfully in a virtual environment.
Roberto Cabanelas (MSLOC 2013) has been appointed Global Head of Human Resources for Aon Hewitt. He was formerly Corporate VP HR for Motorola Solutions. Robert has expertise in global HR, talent, succession & leadership assessment development, organizational change and design, learning, compensation and benefits. Roberto’s MSLOC Capstone research was aimed at better understanding the development of expertise and expertise-based intuition of functional professionals.
Laura Zeligman (MSLOC Student) was recently promoted to Learning & Development Project Management and Implementation (PMI) Manager for PwC. Laura leverages her client service background to create learning solutions for her former group, the Advisory line of service. Her role within project management allows her to collaborate with other functional groups within Learning & Development to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate onboarding, milestone and core consulting skills programs. Laura has worked for professional services firms since 2008 and has a BA from the University of Michigan.
