Celebrating New Team Members Vasundhara Jain and Ahmmad Brown

We are thrilled to welcome two new members to our talented Northwestern MSLOC and ELOC department teams in early 2022: Vasundhara Jain and Ahmmad Brown. Please read more about them below, and join us in extending to them a very warm welcome to our community.

Vasundhara Jain

Assistant Director, Engagement and Outreach

Vasundhara joined our MSLOC/ELOC Department team in February 2022 as Assistant Director, Engagement and Outreach. In this role, Vasundhara provides content and campaign management, communications, and community outreach and engagement for all of our programs. This includes engaging with prospective and current students, alumni, faculty, and internal and external organizational partners to provide strategic brand-building, learning, development, and career opportunities for our MSLOC/ELOC community.

Vasundhara brings significant expertise in marketing strategy, account planning and management, market research, prospect engagement, and content creation. Her prior professional roles include sales and client management at Willis Towers Watson, marketing execution for Bain & Company, and similar development roles across a variety of firms. She earned her Masters (MSc) in International Marketing Management from the University of Leeds and her Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) at the University of Delhi.

Ahmmad Brown

Assistant Professor of Instruction

Ahmmad joined the MSLOC and LEIO Certificate faculty as an intergroup dialogue co-instructor in 2021, and we are so pleased to announce he will join our MSLOC/ELOC Department team as an assistant professor in June 2022. Ahmmad will serve as a faculty member in the department and lead our Leading Equity and Inclusion in Organizations Certificate and related curriculum. Ahmmad will co-teach several courses offered by MSLOC and ELOC.

Ahmmad is a scholar-practitioner in diversity, equity, inclusion and justice (DEIJ), and the co-founder and executive director of Equity Based Dialogue for Inclusion (EBDI). This spring, Ahmmad will finish his Doctorate at Harvard Business School. His dissertation research focuses on identity and belonging to examine Black students’ experiences in predominantly white institutions. In his work with EBDI, and as a senior advisor with Working IDEAL, Ahmmad works with organizations across sectors and industries to develop and implement impactful DEIJ structures and policies.
