Biography

Mindy Douthit brings both professional and academic expertise in the areas of organizational development and change and social network analysis. In addition to teaching courses in SESP’s Learning & Organizational Change concentration, Douthit is an instructor and research advisor in SESP’s Masters of Learning and Organizational Change program and she is actively involved in leadership coaching with Kellogg’s Executive Education programs.

Prior to working for Northwestern, Douthit was an adjunct professor with DePaul’s College of Commerce teaching classes with both the undergraduate and MBA programs. She spent several years with Accenture working in the areas of organization analysis and design, change management and training design and development. Douthit also worked as a manager with The International Forum, designing senior executive educational programs for global clientele. She holds a PhD in organization theory and strategy from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Her research and teaching interests include organizational change and innovation and career development and fulfillment for young professionals.
